If you already have an OS installed on that drive and want to keep it there, then you can run 'Porteus Installer' without clicking the option to install a bootloader. Porteus can be installed to a flash drive or hard drive by burning the ISO to a CD, booting from it, and then selecting 'Porteus Installer' from the system menu on your desktop.
